tuff torq

I just noticed there must be more than one speed on the tuff torq trans, K46 since there are 3 settings on the little lever, one fully in and one part out and one all the way out - only the one all the way out does it not move the tractor, can anyone confirm this?

Is this a rod that comes out of the back of your tractor? if so that is your lock unlock for moving the tractor by hand.
