TT50 3pt quit working

Hey folks trying to help a neighbor. He drained{fluid change} his hydro/trans fluid a few days back and now the 3 pt won't work. The stealer is about worthless been like that as long as I can remember. Everything was working fine, drained, refilled and now the FEL works but the 3 pt does nothing. We tried reving the engine and working the lever, thinking air may be trapped but that has done nothing. Any ideas?

. . . or maybe those who could help take offense at your calling a dealer a "stealer." When you are asking for help, suppressing the insults is always a good choice.

I don't think you'll find a lot of expertise on the TT models specifically with the users on TBN. What you are describing would point to the "power beyond" plug coming loose in the joystick valve if it were one of the New Holland compacts. Without a detailed knowledge of the flow in the TT system, I'd sure hate to start guessing.

Thanks Jinman for the thoughts. As far as the stealer comment goes..................well if you lived in this area I'm sure you'd understand. I'll give just one example of this so called "dealer". My neighbor had issue's with this tractor before (while under warranty)and to make a long story short the dealer said "you must have gottin a friday or monday machine, oh well." Infact I wouldn't be surprised if this problem were not related to the last. They said they found metal in the hydraulics, flushed it and sent him on his way. He asked them about this problem, they said nothings wrong just hold it wide open and keep working the valve.......quess they're wrong.
