TSC coming to New Hampshire

Rileys is still hanging in there and so is the place across the street! It's a bit tougher these days and getting harder to find places to shot, just not enough libs that are willing to hold up the targets!

Well, i was hoping for more than 10% ! I'll still have to take a spin down there to check it out. Maybe on Saturday.

As far as Cabellas...... i've been to their store in Michigan, only one i've ever been to. WOW ! That place was mind boggling. Honestly, i don't think they would put Riley's out of business, but i guess you never know.

Yes, yes!!! Ive been to those in NE and SD and even though theyre basically the same deal its still fun to hang out at the gun counter and drool.

Then again...Rileys is hard to beat, having a 'charisma' all its own that Cabelas just cant (& never will) match. I very much hope Rileys continues to do well. Ive spent many pleasant hours there. Theres just something about old gun shops and hardware stores thats completely irresistible.

Stopped in to the Merrimack store today on their first day of business.
I wasn't impressed. No grand opening sale, and looked to be only about 10% tractor supplies.

I went down there Saturday and I agree with you, a bit slow on knowledge and not much on hand for implements. The manager told me they will on special order items like tillers and bushhogs now because they are getting ready for the fall and winter items.

Weren't too many customers there, more workers than buyers, but I did enjoy myself walking around looking at different items. Came away as a proud owner of a TSC catalog and didn't spend a penny inside the store.

Liked the idea of all the small stuff they had on hand like hardware, tractor paints, etc. Sure I could have spent money on stuff, but had my heart set on picking up a tiller only to find out it would be a special order and I would have to pay up front.

Like others, I thought they would have a Grand Opening special on the big stuff and I could save some money (Not to be). There was a Managers Special on the 4 tiller at a price of $995 and the 4 KK Bush hog was 698. This price was for all TSC stores, I believe. Only nice advantage we have here is no sales tax, but they don't have the items either.
