Many years back my father-in-law had a riding mower I believe it was a "Mustang" and had to be the smallest thing ever. My impression of it was it was no bigger than a old milk crate/ but I am sure I exaggerate a bit. Can anyone from past experience recall the narrowest wheelbase riding mower? I am still trying to modify a small tractor to act as a surface cultivator using the stirrup hoe (aka oscillating) going down garden rows and not straddling them. Plants or cages in the way or too high.

Bruce: It looks like it. I have no idea who I gave it to after he passed away and unfortunately I wasn't into mowing lawns as i am today. I wonder who manufactured it? I could not tell from the you tube presentation.

Made by/for Mowett
Found these two:

"Mowett Sales Company of Odessa, Missouri, manufactures Mustang riding lawn mowers. "
