Trying to find R4 Tires and wheels for Kubota B6100D 4X4

I have a 1978 Kubota B6100 Manual shift 4x4 model and I've been trying to hunt down R4 tires and new wheels. Someone posted info about a B6100 rebuild back in 2006, but I have not been able to get in touch with him, even after several attempts. My machine currently has almost worn out turf tires, but I want to plow with the little beast, so I want something with a good lug, not to mention that R4 industrial tires would look really cool on the old orange tractor. Does anyone out there know what size tires would work, as well as what size rims I would need? I should be able to find both pretty easily if I knew what sizes I needed. Any info anyone may have on this would be great.

The last post by the TBN member member that you are attempting to contact was on 12-07-2011. Sometimes there are tire and rims sellers on www.TractorHouse.com Hope this helps.

The thread on Orange Tractor Talk doesn't say what size wheels and tires were used, just that the tires have an R4 tread pattern. I've been hunting for quite some time.

You might not need new wheels now that you are running turf tires. I would go to a firestone or goodyear tire dealer with your tire size now and they have charts that tells you what you need.

I've been hunting for hours to find a conversion chart that would convert my 3 dimension turf tire sizes to R4 industrial tire sizing. Does anyone know of one? The current turf tires on the machine are the following sizes.

Front: 20.5x8-10

Rear: 29x12-15

However, my measuring tape tells me that these tires physically measure about 1" shorter with proper inflation. Go figure. If not a tire size conversion chart, does anyone know how to do the conversion to R4 tire sizing? I think Leejohn is right that I may be able to find R4s that fit my wheels.
