Had the tires replaced on my 2500 HD truck a little over a month ago. Last week the wife wanted to go horseback riding with some friends, so i put 80 psig in the back tires to pull our gooseneck trailer. While i was at work, she used the trailer and went riding. Later that evening, after the trailer unhooked and truck sitting in the garage, the valve stem on one of the back tires ruptured. When i got home and looked it over, this was the first time i noticed the shop had installed passenger tire valve stems on the tires instead of high pressure valve stems. Just a reminder to be more observant than i was if you press up your tires to pull a trailer. Glad it didn't fail while she was pulling the trailer.
