Dodge used to have a van with a pickup bed many years back. Was a drag strip item as I recall. What I can't recall was the name.

Gary, no, not the Rancharo. This was a real 1/2 ton pick-up truck (not a glorified station wagon with an open rear). Found one really poor pic of a 1960 model with crew cab. http://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gallery/sizeimage.php?&photoid=11464&.jpg

That's the one I was thinking of. I thought it was "little red truck" but that's the PU that Dodge had. Not the van based one I was thinking of.
