Local Truck Driver Killed in Industrial Accident

Hanover, MD (WLTX) -- A Clarendon County man was killed Monday in an industrial accident in Maryland.

41-year-old Stacy Carl Moody of Turbeville was delivering granite slabs to a countertop company. The slabs slid off his truck's flatbed trailer and fell on top of him as he prepared to unload them.

Moody worked for McKenzie Trucking in Kingstree. Investigators say his death was an accident, though the Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Department will continue to look into how it happened.

Yep, that article was in our paper. Also a local farmer was killed when he flipped his tractor over backwards, was pulling out a truck that got hung up in his field. Article didn't say if the tractor had ROPS.
