Does anyone know what it means when the low gear light flashes on and off no matter what gear you have the tractor in?

Sounds like a short or a bad switch.

Sounds like you need to have your gear range selector either recalibrated or checked or possiable even replaced

I haven't seen that with my DK40se but my neutral light occasionally stays on even though I am in gear so there are some gremlins in that switching mechanism. It seems to be just an indicator issue as the tractor transmission functions just fine, it is just the indicator light that is screwed up. I haven't bothered to fix mine and I have noticed that it happens less frequently now than when I first took delivery.
