Correction to my question of tallest mountain. I gave the height as 30,000 plus. It is actually about 56,000.

Well, when I think of American motorcycles, I think of Harley! I didn't think they were ever assmebled anywhere but here, but like I said, I really don't know about motorcycles.

In the 30's Harley went to Japan & they were made in Japan for domestic consumption. To the best of my knowledge none were brought to the US.
Harley also tough them something very important. They learned that lesson pretty well except for one little thing.

I am going to take a real far out there WAG... a direct connect modem? Would this have been before the 1968 Carterphone decision allowing connection of consumer owned devices to the telephone network? Just grasping for straws here.
