Hi all, Anyone know what is involved in replacing the pto output shaft seal in a New Holland 1715. I have a moderately small leak that I've been ignoring for some time. Does the shaft just slide out, after removing the cover, to get to the seal or is it more involved. The 1520 and 1320 should be the same if you own one of them. Thanks up front for any info.

oh sure, that is how i decide how i can work on stuff before i get in over my head but there a great guys here and on other forums that have helped me when i have gotten in those situations - the parts manuals are usually a great help. Deere and New Holland/Ford and Case New Holland have GREAT parts pix that i have used time and time again.

I have to presume most major manufacturers have the same kind of thing
