Kubota L3200HST with LA524 Loader, Quick Connect; Loaded R4 Tires
I'm burying a small black poly irrigation water line about 12" deep. I had a fellow with a skid steer do some other work and he just attached what looked like an 18" or so spike to his loader and made the narrow trench I needed. I now find I have to extend that line. Do they make something similar that my Kubota L3200HST could use? Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

A subsoiler is what I used to bury poly pipe a foot or so deep years ago.

I have a subsoiler but never used it in that fashion, although I hear many others have. My former L3200 pulled it at over a foot down. You have to pull the pipe through the ground attached to the subsoiler or feed the pipe through a guide to the bottom of the subsoiler. A subsoiler wont create an open trench you can place pipe into. Personally I'd run the subsoiler through the ground at least once to loosen stuff up first if I tried either of those options.

I have a 3pt trencher that does 3', but it wasn't that cheap even used. Low low on my L4060 with HST+ will go slow enough but it's a lot of effort to go that slow & steady. A regular HST could probably do it, but it would be a lot of concentration.

I made a couple of runs with the subsoiler, laid the well pipe, then tamped it into the trench to a somewhat uniform depth. Finished up by running the tractor over the trench a few times, and it closed right up. My water pipe was not mission critical as far as depth. It's just a 200' water line for the garden, with a 10' drop over 200', so it's easy to drain before winter.

I've seen home made subsoilers for wire that feed into the trench via a short section of curved PVC pipe... Looks like they get the wire right to the bottom of the trench.
