Does it have brakes?

I used the loader mounting frame for both the front & rear tie down points On my 7 x 10 trailer. This provided the best angle on the straps for both fore - aft & side to side. Also left in gear and the brakes for maximum resistance to moving.

Watch for sharp edges so that the straps don’t get cut or frayed. Check the tightness often since they can loosen

No brakes and not required in PA for under 3000 GVW which I figure I'm about 2600lbs total including trailer. My vehicle is rated over 6000lbs.

Hard to say without being there, but I壇 be all but certain to back the tractor on the trailer. Last thing you want is negative tongue weight. And you will be using about all of that 12 if you put the bucket on the deck where it belongs.

Agreed. Negative tongue weight and single axle. The tail will wag the dog.

As far as tie downs, the book calls for two tie down "points" on the tractor, and an additional one for the attached equipment. (FEL) I know this is overkill, but you asked. I'm assuming that you want the legal answer to your question.

Now, how would I do it, if it were mine? Probably back it onto the trailer. Tie down the rear hitch to somewhere on the tongue, and throw a ratchet strap over the floorboard.
I mean, we are talking about an overgrown lawn mower here! :p  No offense intended. ;)

That trailer has a fairly good setback on the axle so most likely you'll be ok pulling on, I'd try it first and see how the tongue weight looks.
