Transporting a TH 6x4 diesel

Hello.....just purchased a 2007 Gator TH6x4 diesel. It's a couple hours drive and a ferry ride away.

Does anyone here know if one of these will fit in the back of a full-sized 1t pickup with 8 foot bed? I'd rent or borrow a trailer but the ferry charges an extra $180 per trip when towing a trailer. I'd like to avoid that if possible with my truck and loading ramps if possible.

All gators (except maybe the pro-gator and 4 seaters) will fit in the back of a full size p/u unless it has some additional brush guards, bigger tires, etc. You just won't be able to close the tailgate, the rear of the machine will need that space.

I have a Gator 6x4 and it will not fit in the back of a pickup, to wide.

Specs say the width is 60 inches. Do you have that much width in the pickup box?

My tail gate is 62" wide so in theory it's wide enough. I was hoping to hear from people that have done it and can confirm it goes in without rubbing or can confirm it won't go in like Gator6x4 above. Sounds like I'll need a trailer or a 14foot cube van.
