Kubota B2920
New B2920 this week. Been playing with it for about two hours. Checked the transmission fluid and it was down to the bottom nub on the stick. I hope I should not be concerned.

Question- do I use the Kubota UDT/Super UDT fluid or is there a substitute that will work just as well without the mark-up?

Also, when I hop off the machine and the seat pops up it continues to run. I thought there was a kill switch?

Thanks

Personally, I'd use sudt or sudt-2, but that's me. Since there is something akin to 4 gallons in there, that tiny bit showing down is inconsequential.

The switch under the seat allows you to get off your tractor, otherwise, you couldn't warm it up, etc. But, if you tried to push the go peddle, it would stop immediately.

You've just spent around USD15000 plus tax , and you're already
looking to save the price of a lunch ,on your entire transmission fluid.
Come on now ! ;)

Yeah I know-but it's also an hour ride to closest dealer

Take the drive and buy all the service parts and fluids
to do the next 2 years ; hydro , engine , fuel & air filters plus
SUDT II , front diff EP oil . Maybe Messicks will deliver the lot
for not much freight too !
