I have a 96 MF 253. The transmission filter I removed is PN 1674984M92. The dealer was showing me a substitute part number 377112M92. This filter is shorter and the entire assembly is about an inch shorter. The sub has a manufactured on spacer and they claim you don't need an O-ring gasket at the top. My original is about 7 inches long and has two O-rings at the top. One inside of the suction tube and one on top of the filter in the recess area.
