transmission/3pt problems

Hi, I'm a newbie to tractors. I bought a Yanmar 3000. Runs well but
after a while 3pt lift quits operating and gears fail to engage. Are
the problems related? What are the probable culprits?

May want to check for the proper oil. Oil may be getting warm and thinning.

try cleaning the hyd filter/ screen. Install jd 303 hyd fluid

I installed new fluid last time but did not clean the filter. I'll give that a shot.
