Had to put it on hold as the weather went bad on me. 27° with 15 mph gusts is no fun playing with chains and binders!! I'll get back on it and let you know.

I know I'm running on the hairy edge with everything. This is what happens when you think you're going to save a few bucks.

I agree on the trailer being level.
Good that you have an adjustable hitch.
Your tongue weight can be 10-15 percent of the trailer weight, especially since your tow rig is a dualley.

Gentlemen,

Many thanks to all! The weight of the cargo in the truck lowered the hitch height and brought the trailer level. In addition, I took the FEL bucket off turned it around an stuck the USS plate on the loader into it at the front of the trailer. 4 chains, one at each corner with a strap over the top of the FEL arms and another across the BH bucket. It came out at 4790 per axle on the trailer. A perfect split of the total axle weight.

Left PA. 10:00 pm Saturday night, rolled into N. Central Fl. 3:00 pm Sunday afternoon. Perfect ride with NO issues.
