I will be trading my b7500 for a bx2360 soon & want to know what I should expect? Lack of power? Traction?

The b7500 is a gear tractor with AG tires & goes anywhere, has a loader.

The bx2360 has industrial tires, loader & belly mower.

I guess I am just nervous about getting rid of B7500, been a great tractor.
I lost my 0 turn mower in a fire last fall & am going to replace it & my B7500 with the BX2360 & get down to 1 unit.
Any advice will be appreaceated

Based on your post above, no one has any idea what you are currently doing with your B7500 nor what you plan to do with the BX2360. So it's impossible to provide any advice on whether a given tractor will be better/same/worse than another given the lack of information above.

well- it's sure is a smaller unit. Have you test driven one yet? How big of lot you want to take care of and what are you using it for?
I personally dont run out of traction since I don't try to use it like a B, it does exactly what i need it for. plowing snow, tilling, mowing, firewood duties, trailering, etc. The only thing I did that I changed was added rimguard to my rears and what a difference.

Like wrooster says; hard to tell. We love our BX2660, but have other tractors. For our needs, absent other tractors, I would have a B as opposed to a BX.

Ace,
If something is working don't try and fix it. Keep the B7500 and buy a home-owner's lawn tractor to mow with. Unless you are mowing a golf course, the lawn tractor will be easier on the lawn and you won't have the big pain of putting the mower on and off the BX.

I currently use the 7500 for digging, hauling brush, landscaping. I pull a 4' brush hog, a rear blade & rake. I used to mow with a 3pt hitch finish mower, but didn't like going around shrubs etc.
The BX I would be doing the same things and mowing my 3 acres I have a additional 2 acres that are wooded.

You should get a B, and not a BX.

ACE,

I have similar tasks as you. Weighed a BX2660 with a B2620. The B won. I have a loader, 60"MMM and a ballast box. Will be adding a brush hog as soon as I can find a nice used one.... Or I'll bite the bullet on a new one. I maintain about 2 acres lawn and three acres woods and field. Great tractor!

I can't say a B or a BX would be better for you. I've looked at a lot of B's but have never owned one. I don't think you will notice a lot of difference in power. The biggest difference is tire size and ground clearance. If a lot of your work will be mowing, I'd say the Bx is the right choice. If you do a lot of digging and going in the woods, the B might be a better choice.

I owned a couple of regular riding mowers, and couldn't go back to that again, unless I had a really smooth smaller yard. I just beat the heck out of them and they didn't seem to last.

I can't say a B or a BX would be better for you. I can say I've owned several of both and currently own one of each. BX25 FEL BH and a B2320. They both have the same HP and the B sits a bit higher off the ground. Between the BXs I've owned from the smallest BX a BX1500 to the largest BX2660 and the smallest B the B2320 and the largest at the time B3200, the biggest difference is the ground clearance. There is the 3ph will also raise higher (another feature of the higher ground clearance) on the B and the bucket capacity and power on the biggest B is a bit more. The Bs have a three speed on the HST and the BX is 2 speed and the BX has the plastic fan which the B doesn't. I like both the BXs and Bs apparently but again the choice between the 2 is now up to you. The price difference isn't even that much different on the ones of near the same HP. Neither one is the lessor tractor, one is just closer to the ground than the other one and I think there is where your choice can be made. Do you like closer to the ground or more ground clearance?
