Tractor
B3200 Kubota
Was in a bit of a hurry in late Dec (09) to get in on KCC's 0%/60 months (yeah, I know, it's been brought back in March, oh well..), so I traded my 2001 B7500 (Woods FEL, 54" Kubota MMM, 425Hrs) to the dealer. I normally sell my tractors outright, but it was the dead of winter & I wasn't sure Kubota would extend their free financing........ Short story long....... I paid $20,700 for the B3200 (FEL w/Quick Connect 60" Bucket/72" MMM) & the dealer gave me $9,000 trade for my old set up. They wouldn't budge a dime...... I'm seeing some better deals here, but just how much cheaper can this set up be bought?

This will sound stupid or naive to some, but I don't worry all that much about it when I see that someone else got a better deal on something. I figure what something is worth to me and if I get that price I buy it and if not don't.

Enjoy your new tractor, spring is here.

I am absolutely with TripleR on this one. No value in worrying about a decision made that can't be changed anyway. Because you traded your other tractor, it would be difficult to determine anyway as maybe they gave you a better deal on the trade. So instead of beating yourself up, enjoy your new ride.

If you are happy with the B3200 just enjoy it. No such thing as a perfect tractor OR attachment. Money thing is just a lesson in being human.

I'm a buyer and my friends and family know it. Ocassionally one will bring something to show me and ask me what I think about their purchase. My first question is always "Have you already bought it?" If they say "yes" then I find something about it to brag about. The color, the weight , the appearance in relation to the clouds or something. If they say "No, not yet" then I tell how I really feel while watching their reaction to my candid opinion, if I see to much pain on their face or in their behaviour and decide they only want my opinion if it backs up their decision then I tell them it's a nice color. I've bought and traded a lot of Oranges, they run good, work good and are fun, enjoy yours. I never look back! I've got it! it's done! I'm looking forward and not behind!:)

I'm with everyone else on this one. Life is too short to always second guess your decisions especially about money. If you have to sell your first born to buy it then maybe you should think twice about buying. If it was a good deal at the time then it is still a good deal. Don't look back, look ahead to the next one and enjoy your purchase now.

I think you did very well on the B7500 trade! A done deal is a done deal, why look back?

I saw that you bought a 72" MMM. My dealer said that he's only sold about 3 of them and all the rest were 60" MMM's. He told me that scalping is more of an issue with the 72". Do you notice that? I would love to have another foot of cutting width to mow my 3 acres, but not if it's going to scalp alot.

Won't know if the 72" MMM scalps till I get some grass to mow. Bought the tractor in late Dec, so I haven't tried it yet. Sure hope that's not the case!

There have been a couple of posters here that have the 72" MMM and glad they got that size.
