Okay. Since I started this post I thought I ought to give an update. I took everyone's advice into account and decided not to trade my 2210 for the 2320 because of the $ difference. Once my emotions were settled, I called the dealer and told him that I could not go through with the trade unless he offered me a much better deal on my 2210. He was very nice and understanding. I threw out a "hail mary" number that I thought I could get selling my 2210 w/62C, 200CX to a private buyer and asked if he could work with that figure. He called me back with an offer that was darn close!

To make a long story short (my wife is SICK of me talking about it) we worked out a deal on a 2520 and not the 2320! I am expecting the delivery of the 2520 with 62D MMM, 200CX loader by the end of the week. I also went with R3.

Neglecting the $, was trading a nice 2210 w/62C, 200CX for a new 2520 w/62D, 200CX a good upgrade?

That all depends on what you use it for... If all you are doing is mowing with your 62d, then I don't think you will benefit at all. If you start using the larger tractor features of the larger machine then you probably did good. So only you can decide it if was a good deal. As a lawn mower, I'd rather have a 2305 than my 2320. For using my PHD and other 3 pt attachments, the 2520 you got will do a better job. It will also have more capability with the front end loader if you use that much.

So in all actuality, we should be asking you wether it was a good upgrade or not. We will give you some time to answer :p .

The next decision is will it handle a 4 foot or 5 foot boxscraper? Has any one out there tried one of each yet?

Definitely go for the 5 foot box blade. I have the Frontier 5' unit, and it seems perfectly sized for the 2320. I have leveled hardpack driveway, moved around tons of crushed stone, ripped up roots and leveled heavy clay soils with ridiculous ease.

The 5' unit will also cover your tracks very nicely, so you can put a smooth finish on whatever you are working on.

I'm getting the shakes. Is that normal? Should I consult a doctor?

I think this will be a nice upgrade. Now I will be able to take on bigger projects. I main trigger that casued me to upgrade was moving that large oak tree. That root ball was very large +700 pounds plus I had my 200 pound neighbor trying to stablize the tree while standing in the bucket. The 2210 did do what I asked it to do but I don't think I should do that all day long. Plus, my wonderful wife gave me the okay - what more can I ask for!

I just upgraded from a 2210 to a 2520 also!
Let me just say that the 2520 makes the 2210 feel like a TOY!

The 2520 does the work sooooo much easier, and it doesn't strain so much doing loader work.
You'll really see the benefits on rough ground.
