C'mon guys - I agree with LBrown that the trailer is small, but one of the advantages of a small trailer is that the trailer does not weigh much.
However:
"1900# static load to spare"?
If this means that you've got capacity to add another 1900lbs I think not.
If this means your tow package weighs 1900lbs, I think not.
Do the math:
Mower - 250lbs (spec)
BX2230 - 1300lbs (SWAG)
Fuel, and hopefully chains - 100lbs (WAG)
Total - about 2250 lbs.
3500-2250 = 1250, not 1900, so you better not try to put another tractor and mower on
.
"haul large equipment buckets and grapples that weigh twice the tractor"
3500-(2600+500) = 400 still not overloaded
So it seems sufficient for the tractor and mower combo, could even add a FEL.
Of course I pack my B7610, which weighs about the same, on a trailer with a 12,000lb GVWR.
There is no BH of FEL, just the tractor and deck. There is a 1900# static load to spare so the trailer is not even close to being loaded. It is routinely used to haul large equipment buckets and grapples that weigh twice the tractor without any problems with the DOT.
