Tractor
2006 New Holland TC33DA with SS, R4 loaded tires, 2 rear remotes, arms rests, & rear light
I live in northeast Missouri and was wondering what a fair trade would be for the following:

Trade-In: 2004 TC24DA with 72 hours, 12LA FEL, brushguard, 914A 60" MMM

Purchase: new 2005 TC33DA with SS, 15LA FEL, and brushguard

I figure I could always get a mower at a later date.

Pretend I have the TC24 paid for and I was only paying the difference.

Thanks in advance for the input

Compare the prices of a new TC26 and the 33. Find the difference and then add since your tractor is smaller and older. I'm shopping and looking in that same league, except the Case line. There is about a $2500 difference between a DX26 and DX29 at the dealer cost level. I'd guess they will want around $5k plus your tractor for the new one.

I also have a 24D and I'm needing a backhoe. I think I'm going to go to the dealer tomorrow and see what my options are as far as buying/financing. What I would like to do is trade the 24/MMM/12LA for a 33/14LA/BH and some type of mower for it. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Good luck tomorrow Jim and keep us posted on the trade difference.

Finally made it to the dealership today. For me to upgrade my existing equipment to a 33/loader/mmm (I'm assuming 72") it would be my tractor + $8100. My 24D is an '03 w/ 12LA and 60" RD MMM. Though I probably won't be doing it. I'm leaning more toward just the 3pt hoe for my 24 for $4750.

jwstewar,

What's going to happen to your MMM when you have to add the backhoe subframe?

Sounds like a 3-point mower will be next on the agenda.

The dealer was actually staying with the MMM and going with a 3PH hoe. Said for what I was doing there would be no issues. He says they average about 10 hoes a year on the Class 1 NHs.

I'm going thru the same thing I have a TC24D and looking to go the TC33D or 34D which ever i can get my hands on. I have a subframe hoe for my 24 but they said it will fit on the 33D by changing the subframe. I'm still getting trade in prices.
