I remember the first time I broke my arm at age 8, and an arborist hopped into the emergency room on one foot, with his buddy carrying the guy's other foot in an Igloo Lunchmate cooler. Even the pro's screw up, sometimes.
Note to self... Don't be that guy

Second I've seen by this poster today, although I'll take your word on the link.
10 year member, I wonder if somebody hijacked his profile.

Looking at his profile, the member posted twice before today, the last time was in 2017.
Today he put up 104, all links such as that which you reported.

I didn't click the link, no interest in that kind of thing, but the post basically described where it went.

I suspect it was a past valid member who's account was compromised. See my recent post in another thread about passwords. If you use the same password here as you used at Ticketmaster, Target, or any one of a hundred other sites compromised in the last two years, someone has your account password for this site, as well! :D

I read your post there, as part of it was directed at me. One thing I have never seen mentioned anywhere is the importance of protecting your email password and account. If somebody gets hold of those they can compromise most of your other online sites.

I'm not going to say how I get my passwords but they aren't based on words, dates, events or anything else which could lead back to me. I do have to write them down, as there is no way I could remember all of them.
I learned my lesson years ago when a friend who knew me too well joked to her friend "find out when his dog was born and you will have his password!"
*****! I had to go home that night and change all of them.

lol...

I had it happen to me once, about 17 years ago, a data breach on one site compromised my logins on others. Thankfully, nothing critical, no money was lost. That's when I started using randomly-generated passwords from a password manager. But that's definitely not the only solution, stick with what works for you!

I need to add a ballast plate to the front of my dad’s little JD 750 next year. The little bastard has plenty of power but steering is pretty dicey with his 5 ft bush hog on back and I’ve got to make quite a few runs to the woods with the carryall to get a truck load of firewood.

Maybe you can find some JD suitcase weights for it if it has a rack like some do. Home Despot here has 43 pounders. You have that Chevy pretty well stuffed !!

It's been years and 3 tractors ago, since I had a JD 750, so I don't remember what type of bar it had for hanging suitcase weights... if any. But I do recall it had independent rear brakes, so there should be no issues with steering. Heck, even my 3033r is steered almost entirely by rear brakes, when floating the plow in heavier snow.
