Two pounds… supposedly about the size of a softball.
I was in the Waite General Store today… their picture had been includdd in the newspaper article. They are selling “non-meteor rocks” for $1.99.
No doubt it’s more for a smile than to make money, but it did provide the intended reaction.

That would be good, also. The owners are doing their best to keep the store open in a small town with dwindling population. Anything helps.

After 2 years sitting stacked on skids on the landing, the 70+ 8 foot hemlock logs, I had started cutting for pulp, sold to a guy who wants to saw 4x4 posts out of them.
I had planned on cutting a full tri-axle and pup load but got sidetracked with other projects and never cut any more.
This was a win/win as it finally got them off the landing and paid me more than pulp rate!

Good deal! We can't sell hemlock pulp right now, the mill which took it shut down (again) and may not restart.
One of this weekend's projects is to saw out a few fence posts. I'm not sure if I'll use hemlock or ash, but the deer have started to come around again and are raising the dickens with my fruit trees.

Bummer that the mill shut down.
I have not looked into where I can sell any near me.
Guy who has trucked for me in the past had a pulp connection but I have not talked to him in a few years. Pine pulp is still being bought fairly locally for pellets so that's good since I have 30+ acres of pine, much of which is pulp only.

I sawed a V in a big log to hold the "shorts" that get trimmed off the logs at the BSM, I then chainsaw out thick blanks, and make things out of them after they dry,

The long noodles that come from ripping the blanks out, makes fantastic fire starter.
