Thanks, it is a fun tractor to work with. It is mostly all original including paint and tires. It just turned 2000 hours, but has always been stored inside, so the rubber is in decent shape and the rears still have over half their tread remaining.

I bought it from the widow of the original owner (my neighbor across the street). I did have to replace one rear rim last year, after the calcium solution finally rusted thru that side. It will be interesting to see how it does on my spring plowing with one just one loaded rear.

I love those old gems. I had a 9n similar to yours, 1938, my dad had on the farm. I used it for 40 more years after he died in 1976. Limited in their ability but faithful and didn't need pampering.

I chip apple wood for local smokers. So cherry is good?

I smoked some whitefish that I caught ice fishing with apple wood one time. That was the best fish I ever had.

Any fruit or nut tree wood is good, even grapevines. I almost always do my poultry with cherry.
