Well many of you may have seen my bridge thread, but I got the side trim and approaches all finished up. Time to go after some firewood on the other side of the creek!



Had to make some space in my log pile first, so I ran two tanks of gas through my Stihl yesterday. My muscles seem to have forgotten what that feels like, ouch.

Bridge looks nice, was it a-head of schedule and under budget or behind schedule and over budget.............
Two tanks TWO TANKS, what you going to do when your my age.............

I was moving half cord boxes of wood today, I also was filling the empty boxes,

Filling them out of my "self unloading" wood hauler, makes the job a lot easier!

That self unloading wood hauler really works great, it stacks the wood at the same time.......

My cellar is full, firewood trailer is still full and I wanted to get more wood under cover near house so I made a box on the FEL and this is all I could lift, hardly worth it...

Maybe if you ran your winch cable up over the roof and hooked it to the box...

Maybe if you didn't keep your prize box of rocks in the bucket too, you could have lifted more. I know, I know, the Mrs. doesn't want the prize in the house, and if you leave it in the garage, you have to keep moving it out of the way...

That's the trade off, you either get a basement, or you build a house in a sandbox. You chose the latter...
