Well, near here there is a river entering the ocean. Just up the river a quarter mile there is a small island about the size of a house. It痴 been reported that in the 1700s pirates buried treasure there. Gf has a metal detector and if I can find anything valuable there I値l be getting a winch and the saw.

I did go in s logging road today though. I see some decent wood left but if I had that winch mounted on the j5. That would be dandy. It痴 hilly rough logged over ground. I would like to mount a clutch pump on it and run hydraulics. I then would mount a motor that has the splined pto shaft on it on the back. Run the winch the same as you boys on the tractors

I think I watched a show about that on the Discovery Channel a few years ago... it seemed to me that the "Treasure" was found by the camera crew, as they were paid to visit such a beautiful area.

Just curious what you boys used for sawmills back in the day. I talked to older friend and he said they used his dads farmall c. He said it had a lot of hours on it and I asked how as I knew they didn’t do much hay with it. But said they had it on the sawmill running a lot. It shows 23 pto hp. We used the m but it had quite a bit more.

Nice picture. Are there much different tooth styles in those.? Seems like some videos they don’t cut that fast but then a modern make they seem to zip through

Now all you have to do is convince the nearest Kubota dealer and they'l finance a 100k metal detector excavating machine for you, then you'll get the treasure lot quicker, see your not thinking ahead........
