Your Top Kick would really be a desirable Top Kick to me if it was FOUR WHEEL DRIVE!!!!! I have been stuck so many times over the years on nothing more then a horse ------ with 2 wheel drive that I have develop a 2 wheel drive phobia...........

Even if it was it would still get stuck. Hard highway tires with 110 psi loaded heavy doesn’t spell an off roading vehicle.

Cedar is one of the best smelling trees to mill. But it's getting to the point where good northern white cedar can be hard to find then when it's found no one wants to cut or deliver it, then if one finds someone to cut and deliver cedar, it's like getting someone to tell where their favorite fishing hole is. So when my son hears horror stories of years past where big paper mills just bulldozed cedar over to make way for fir and spruce, makes my son blanked off.
At least I managed to get some nice Blk. Locust today,

Not sure how many Great Whites there are off the coast of Washington!

We do not see great whites but we see the killers of the great white shark from time to time. Orcas do go through here, but rare to see them. About 2 months ago we had about 50 california sea lions thrashing salmon for about 2 days in a storm right in front of the house. A real bloodbath for the salmon unfortunately. I was hoping the orcas would move in and eat a few sea lions and disperse the rest of them. The picture on my avatar is during that time, the seagulls were taking a break from feasting on the salmon scraps. As far as great whites go, the orcas flip them upside down to stun them, then gut them for their livers. See link. Orcas top great whites in the predator world.

Is someone growing Christmas trees or logs?

We don’t do Doug Fir Christmas trees there’s no money in them, we still have about 100 acres of Noble fir that’s all bows now but when we were doing them we did 9’+ full sheared trees. Christmas tree seedlings actually do look different then timber seedlings.

^^^^^^

They've got to be Christmas trees before they can become logs.

Normally Christmas seedlings will look different then timber stock and we don’t normally see Douglas Fir it’s normally Noble sheared super heavy.

In my family a Christmas tree just is not right unless it is a lobsided Doug Fir with a few branches missing, aka a Charlie Brown tree, one that grew where it should not and needed to be pulled up anyway....

For a joke we’d shear a tree upside down every year and actually sold a few that way to cat people.

My tree is usually about three feet tall, holds one string of lights, and takes 5 minutes to decorate and not that long to take down.

We did used to call them "Killer Whales" for a reason, until the sensitive PETA animal lovers decided that was giving them a bad reputation. Call a spade a spade...

Doesn’t PETA stand People Eat Taste Animals anyways?
