That was a nice looking trailer. You may have answered this before, but do you still have it?

You bet I do although the paint is well faded, handy dandy trailer for ATVs....

Do you have problem with the trailer wanting to tip over? Looks very nice but also tall and narrow. Maybe you have flat ground and not an issue?

At least it appears his trailer has a pivoting ball hitch, so it is less likely to take the ATV with it if it rolls (not to mention less likely to twist up & damage the ATV's hitch). That's a great feature, and is found on some of the commercially sold ATV log trailers.

BTW... I thought flat ground was against the law in Maine?

That's a nice little trailer. What do you do with the softwood logs Hoobie ? If you were in the east I would call them spruce but I don't know western species that well. Looks like you have plenty of hardwood around for your fire wood. You are in a pretty area. I've never been to BC.

Actually I am in eastern Canada, New Brunswick next to Maine. One half hour from north end of I-95. Not that far from you really. I am in the St. John river valley.
The picture with my nephew hand cranking the logs are hemlock. The other picture are balsam fir and white spruce. I take them to a band saw guy close by. Some lumber is sold and some is for personal use.
Eighty % of my land is tolerant hardwood so yeah lots of firewood

Nice pictures, I use to a lot of parbuckling to before I got a tractor but it just dont beat a FEL.
Canada east of ME must be different then Canada west of ME, 25 years ago me and neighbor went to Canada west of ME. He heard about tandem trailers up there being made for ATVs and wanted one, so when got up there, over there all we saw was tandem trailers in all sizes no single wheel trailers anywhere. Then we stopped into this place that was making them and he bought one, US dollar was strong back then so he got a good deal.
So when we brought it back I took some measurements and built one with some custom improvements. I used it mostly for 4' wood but I did some parbuckling on it to, ATVs can haul logs easier on wheels..... Heres a couple picture taken 25 years ago.

Real solid looking trailer and well built. I wish mine was tandem wheels and longer.

MX5100 and I love it. 52 hp. It suits my need great. First tractor I ever had with a loader. Don't need one bigger but wouldn't want one smaller.
It is 5 years old now with almost 800 hrs. Only issue I have had are front Carlisle tires. One blew apart at 10 hrs or so and the dealer replaced it. Later that summer with about 60 hrs the fronts cracked and bulged in the side walls. Carlisle replaced them. Now one is cracking badly on the leading edges of the lugs. The other seems ok. Titans are on the back and are ok. I am looking what to replace them with when one goes. Opinions seem to be all over the clock on brands.
