Tractor won't start after fuel tank completely empty?

Like in topic: i was stupid enough not to check fuel before going to work. So it ran dry.

But after putting diesel in tank, it just will not start. Sometimes i can hear on a crank that it is picking up something, but 95% it is just making it's rounds...

Is there any explanation for this? Any workaround?

Might have to bleed the system. Check your manual.

All fuel systems need to be bled once air is introduced or the system is opened up for any reason..
Is your machine gravity fed or does it have a supply pump on it.??
U SHOULD be able to hear an electric pump if it has 1..
Open/loosen the bolt that feeds the injection pump & wait a few seconds for the air to be pushed out & then the fuel to flow & tighten.
Once fuel is AT the inj. pump INLET, you'll have to bleed the air out of the lines going to the injectors..
Loosen ALL the lines AT THE INJECTORS & crank the engine until fuel squirts out & no air & tighten..
It should start now.. good luck.

If your iseki is like mine, there are 2 bleeder screws on the filter, and one on the injection pump. Start closest to the fuel tank with one screw at a time like thepumpguysc says and work towards the pump, then the injectors. You shouldn't need to crank the engine until you've done as far as the injection pump, gravity should do it.
If the fuel filter is close to needing changing, this might be a good time to do that as well.

You may have a bosch fuel pump primer on your injector pump.If so replace it and you should be as be to prime it.I had a hard time on my white 2-35 and that was the problem.
