tractor trailer

hi all,

im new on here, just found this place using with a google search, Im based in ireland btw

any threads on here where someone has built one ?

I did a search but mostly found smaller trailers

Are you going to haul the tractor in the trailer behind a truck or tow the dump trailer with the tractor.
I don't recall any members building a 14 x 8 dump trailer, just small dump trailers. I have a 16' x 80" wide 10,000# capacity dump trailer. I can haul my tractor inside or use the tractor to tow it around. The trailer has brakes when hooked to my truck but in order to tow it with the tractor I'd have to install a trailer brake controller on the tractor.

there is a few good build threads here on TBN. from side dumps to rear dumps, to both sides and rear dump trailers.


google the site: then webaddress just searches the given website.

dump trailer site:www.tractorbynet.com

then click over to "images" and that might narrow things down further to some of the build threads. though there was a handful of threads that may not have any pictures in them.

from single stage to double stage or more multi stage hydraulic cylinder. to were to put the pivot points. for the dump part. is what is talked about the most, in threads that i can remember.
