tractor TLB roll bar vs stablizer arms

my Case 530 TLB does not have a rollbar or seat belts, and I was thinking I need to add them. However, after thinking about where to attach it, it occurred to me that this TLB has a backhoe with stablizer arms.

It seems to me that rather than protect the driver from a rollover, it is better to not rollover at all, and thus, if I lower the stablizer arms just above the ground, when driving or using the loader, it would be in fact safer than having a rollbar.

It could possibly still tip over past the stablizer bar, if the loader bucket is full and the front wheel hits a big dip. But the backhoe is quite heavy, it seems to me this type of rollover would be unlikely.

Stabilizers will in no way prevent you from being crushed between the tractor and the ground. What if you put one of the back tires off the edge of a ditch? If you can afford to put a ROP on it, you should.

I have a friend that I warned against leaving the outriggers down traveling. Other than hanging a tree and cars. He thought this was safer than using it with them up. He did what I warned him about. He was going across his place and and outrigger leaked down and hung a stump. It spun him around and off an embankment. He survived. I dont recall ever seeing a 530 with a rops. I think an older 580 rops woul work.
