JD 2240
I've been retired a month now and and am enjoying any amount of time I spend on my JD 2240. I've had it 10 years now, and hope to restore it back to its' 1980 birthday one day. The only problem: I don't know how I ever had time to go to work.

Welcome to TBN and my wife and I sure can identify with that. I worked six years past eligibility and people kept telling me I would be bored to death.

Welcome aboard and congratulations on your "retirement" - although it sounds like you're going to be busy working, just on your own projects, now.
I have 12 years to go before I can retire and I already have no time for work, what with all the tractoring that needs be done around here.
Over the years I have noticed that there are people who are focused on, and live for work, and they are miserable when they retire.
We don't have that problem!
That 2240 is a classic, handsome machine - let's see some pictures.
