For you guys that use the Tractor Supply Hy-Trans Fluid...
It is on sale this week for 24.99 per 5 gal bucket...
They also have Rotella for 29.99 per 2-1/2 gal...
I don't know if this is a regional price reduction or not...

The fluid that is on sale " Xtreme® Tractor Hydraulic & Transmission Fluid, is a brand that they started selling about a year ago, They're house brand is Traveller® Universal Tractor Trans/Hydraulic Fluid which I have been using for almost 10 years now and have confidence using....... At 24.99 a 5 gal.pail
its tempting - but !!!!!! I'll wait for TBN members to share they experiences with this brand

I use the Traveller PREMIUM trans/hyd fluid in my tractor with HST and use the Xtreme fluid to top off my hydraulic reservoir in my TLB. I would not use it in an HST tractor because of the higher tolerances in the HST. The premium fluids seem cheap by comparison to a failed HST. I think if I lived in a cold climate, I would use only New Holland Multi-G 134 or F200A synthetic for extremely cold climates.

In the "New Holland News-Fall 2013" there is a 2 page article promoting their SystemGuard fluid analysis program.
It is about sending in fuel, oil, hydraulic fluid, and coolant samples from your tractors, at 250 hour intervals, for lab analysis to indicate pending problems in the systems.
With this, and a new change to their Mastergold Engine oil and Mastertran transmission/hydraulic oil they are talking extended service life for seasonal use equipment and up to 600 hours between engine oil changes for the newer Tier 4A compliant engines.
The article is titled, "Fluid Analysis Gains Traction as Change Intervals Expand"
It is probably available for on-line reading, and I imagine all the major tractor manufacturers have a similar program.
