Here's a two part question: I live in New Hampshire and it gets fairly cold up here in the winter. I will use my tractor less in the winter, may even go a month or two (gasp!) between uses. The only use may be to clear the snowpiles so generously left by the town plow crew. I have a large snowblower for the driveway. Any precautions? I did read that the clutch pedal should be depressed and secured with the hook to relieve pressure. How about letting the diesel sit during this time?
The other question: At some point I will build a shed for the tractor. Currently, I can fit it into the garage, manuver it sideways and still have room for the cars. Doing this, though, does take time and definately takes up some space. Not to mention the risk of running over numerous bicycles, scooters and rollerblades. I want to build a shed large enough for the tractor, say 16' by 20' or 20' by 20'. It would also hold the various other items for the tractor along with the blower, lawnmower, etc. Having a brand new Kubota, I won't let it sit outside and am even reluctant to let it sit in an unheated shed over the winter. This is probably not a valid concern but did want thoughts on this, especially the cold climate dwellers. David
