tractor shopping for the stressed

Hi and god bless our country! I am a small custom home builder witha JD 1070 loader backhoe 1997 and 670 hours The tractor looks a bit rough but has been maintained. It is now at a local dealer for service and the new 110 caught my eye. The dealer has been very professional and I respect his honesty. I just dont know the value of used equipement and the markup of new. We all must make a living however I need input from tractor people Thanx Ted

In business, as you know, you've got to keep increasin' your productivity to make a livin'. I'm not in touch enough to tell you what equipment would do that for you, but I always liked to skip a generation or two. Don't be afraid to think outside the box.

mybb, I can't speak for the value of your tractor. I would ask to see the book (similar to NADA) to get a rough value on your tractor. As far as the 110 he owns it for around 36K im guessing just as a rough starting point. Steve..
