3.5 years after acquiring my L3410 (and implements of destruction, aka brush cutter, box blade, FEL, post hole digger, chipper, york rake) to tame my 7.5 acres of brush, trees, bogs, poison ivy, and the like, it finally has a home. Such started as a concept for a simple garage, then with a bathroom, then with a basic apartment on a second floor, then it morphed into a 2 bedroom/wood floored/corian countertops second floor, with lightening protection, yada yada yada.
Me, I wanted my tractor out of the rain, and a bathroom --- then my wife got involved. Oh well, after a day's work on the tractor, I now have some air conditioning and a fridge with beer to retreat to - and can even take a shower before I drive home (22 miles). What I'm now in the process of building is a dolly for the 750 lbs brush cutter. It's going to be great to be able to drop the FEL, or brush cutter, on a level cement floor, and actually have with 3PH line up the next time I put them on my tractor. Yup, I'm going to get "soft" in my old age - no more crowbars, hammers and foul language when I'm putting on a tractor implement.
