Well it had to happen. I came home from town today and found my husband moving MY dirt using MY tractor and he had the biggest smile on his face I've ever seen. Now it seems we'll have to work out a tractor sharing agreement. Now if I can just get him to start washing it too /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Moosetracks,

Now that you are one of the guys here I can share this with you...

You really have the upper hand here, being young and all. Just apply the pressure at the right time/place and you will have the tractor back where it belongs and the husband in the kitchen washing the dishes like he should be...

After he washes the tractor and polishes it to boot. How can he deny that he is responsible for the dirt...you caught him red handed right?

Well, it looks to me like it just got a whole lot easier to buy more implements for the tractor.

How about a chipper? From your pictures it looks like one might come in handy.

After reading your post, I had to read your profile. The breed of dog you have, Italian Spinone, didn't ring a bell, so I had to look it up. Reading more of your profile, I realized that you are intelligent and Witty. Your post is just a set up to trap us. It is apparent to me that you know exactly what you are doing. You won't get any help from me. Your husband is taking back what should rightfully be his.... the tractor. As for Henro, well, forget is advise...... he is from some other planet, neither Mars or Venus. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Aw Junkman, it's not really a trap. It's just that I REALLY wanted a tractor and could see the need and all the uses it would have around our little hill farm after spending the summer reading all the informative posts on TBN. After hubby spied a BX23 at the dealer and stopped to check it out I knew I had an opening and I also knew that ground clearance was an issue in our rough terrain so the B series would be better. Since I'm on here, so far in the first week I (we) have moved piles of manure, moved large rocks, mowed a field, rechanneled a creek, and gotten the new tractor incredibly dirty. I (we) love it!

P.S. The spinone was my wild idea too. I'm starting to see a pattern here.

Have you ever thought that maybe there is some reverse psychology going on here and your husband was the one who really wanted the tractor and he has just convinced you that you were the one who wanted it so he could get his hands on one? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Moosetracks , You and my wife must be related some how .
While it wasn't Her idea to get the tractor ( at least I don't think it was ) It's hard to keep Her off of it . She has also claimed the riding mower as Hers ! I bought her a Husqvarna Chain saw in the hope that I could at least have one MAN TOOL for myself .
She's a keeper for sure ! I love Her to death ! John

John, Don't be too sure about that saw! I have 2 stihls, hubby only has one. He's so sweet to let me have all the saws I want since we have three hungry wood stoves.

Moosetracks...... might you have a single sister.... I could use a working woman like you around here..... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif If they are twins, better yet... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Junkman,
Just because you have a sister doesn't mean we're anything alike. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I'm the youngest of 5 siblings 2 of them are my sisters but I'm the only one that has a tractor, chainsaw, go deer hunting, fish and build things. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif My neighbor always called me Max Jr. after my dad, because when he was alive I was always his shadow. My dad was the type if you could make it you didn't buy it so I was always on the helping end of his projects. It also helped me to decide to be a hunter because as long as we hunted he had no problem with allowing us kids to take the hunting season (2 weeks) off from school. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
