My new 5030 HST's fluid looks basically new, but I am unclear on the prior service history. The unit has 110 hours on it. What do you guys think? Should I plunk down the money and do the superUDT service anyway or am I just wasting my money? Filter looks OEM, but maybe that is because the service was done at the dealer?

This is why I, like most everyone I know, scratch or paint the date and hours on the filter(s). This way the information stays on the tractor.
If you have no way to find out past service… I’d say change it and start out with what you know to be right… It’s only money and if it dose nothing else it WILL make you feel better about it /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif. KennyV.

If you are unsure, about a used tractor/car/truck ect, change it. It is cheap insurance overall. And, then you know for sure what is in it...
