Tractor safety in the Ukraine

If you have a few minutes watch this video and see how many unsafe practices you can count in the tractor pull and tractor "trials". I like their pulling sled btw, constant weight the entire distance. None of that silly sliding weight transfer box stuff for these guys!!! You gotta love the one guys tire chains made out of rope!! Now that's getting creative.

Yep. You see that stuff all over YouTube. That one tractor at about 2:00 had a motorcycle engine in it ---hahahah

Seriously though - it is a pity that no one is regulating that. One slip of the clutch when they are climbing the hills and the tractor rotates about the rear axle and without a seatbelt and ROPs he is killed. Also, did you see that guy pulling the other guy out from a hitch point above the rear axle? Crazy.

2 months ago I saw a kid defeat (bypass) the neutral start button on an old Ford 8N. I told him what he was bragging about doing can actually kill someone - he told me to F off. I sent him another email and asked him to remove the video.

I don't think any of those rigs would pass NASCAR or NHRA tech inspections.

Most of them had a seat and a steering wheel, if not much else in common. I especially liked the swinging step on the one with the huge hood sheetmetal - must be real hard to get up on that baby. And one sounded like it had a 2-stroke? Fun to watch, all in all.
