Everyone who has or is currently restoring your tractor how did it turn out and what problems did you have

I have done two 8-N's and a 1959 deere 630. All turned out nice but not showroom new.
Problems are mostly how far you want to tear into it, it's always "well I guess since I am this far".
And you really cant do it to make money,, that is rare, do it for the fun of bringing one back to life.
I am currently restoring 2 Troy-built tillers 1973 and 1981.

It’s definitely no easy job restoring tractors I repainted the hood on mine and it took 40 hours nearly and a lot of learning

I gave my old 1960 Fordson Dexta to an old friend that wanted to restore it. He worked on it for 4 years, pouring literally thousands of dollars into it. And then sadly, he died. I weakly shied away from taking it back to finish the job.

That’s a shame sorry for your loss
