why not put the tires back on and trailer it to a blaster and have it blasted? if you really want it show quality? Time and effort considered you will be ahead of the game with a better end result

I did that to my MF 35 it turned out great

yup... like when you break a 85$ pulley trying to remove it to replace a 5$ timing cover seal... then at that point you figure.. heck.. might as well do all the gaskets and seals. and before you know it the tractor is a skeleton up on blocks.
