I have red cans for gasoline, yellow cans for diesel and blue cans for kerosene.
I too had my cans labeled in big letters but accidentally put gasoline in the Kubota one day. I realized what I did before I tried starting the tractor and immediately drained the tank.
Then I went right to the hardware store and purchased all new fuel cans.
