My daughters used to help me wash my motorcycles, those tiny hands could get into all the tight spots.

That's the way we learn....get your hands on a machine at an early age, twist the levers, jiggle the controls, clean it, take it apart...when I was 8 years old, I bot a rusted V8-60 engine block and completely tore it apart for no reason but to study the parts and understand how it worked. That rusty flathead V8 taught me all about how engines work, how they are designed and how to care for and repair them. Nowadays, I work on my CAT powered MH, my BMW motorcycle, my M-F231S, my riding lawn mower, Toyota RAV4...you get the idea.
