Tractor Canopy

/ Tractor Canopy #31
Stump54 - Now I understand what you were thinking. Here are some more photos to show how the bracket sets on the ROPS. On my B7500 the ROPS slants rearward, therefore, the front of the bracket is as high as the piece that you are considering cutting. The first photo is from the rear with the canopy removed (for the first time).

thatguy - My garage door frame opening is 84.5" and my door hangs down into the opening about 3". My Kubota B7500 with turf tires and TuffTop canopy installed, clears the door by about 1". My TuffTop is the larger of the two sizes, which I believe is what is recommended for most CUTS. My ROPS is fixed, so I can't comment on folding the ROPS with a TuffTop installed, however, I believe there is a previous post about that issue. If I remember correctly, the poster said the tractor/canopy was taller with the ROPS folded than with the ROPS up. Try a search on TuffTop.

I have a tufftop and the rops folds down and with the canopy still on, it is much shorter than with it up, fitting nicely through my garage door which is 8 ft.

Hunt4fun - The height relationship between ROPS up/folded must vary by the tractor/canopy combination. MotorSeven has just posted in a thread called "are canopies helpfull??" He wrote "I love mine, but, if you have to fold the ROPS it is taller folded unless you get a sunshade that also removes/folds." The thread is in the Attachments Forum.

That Tuff-Top looks mighty aerodynamic to me, almost like the wing of a hang glider.

Better keep a close-eye on your ground-speed least we'll be seeing you on the airport radar screen next. ;)

Nice sun shade!

I'm surprised there are no supports coming from somewhere lower down on the rops up to the front.. or at least mid section. Looks like it would help stabilize the entire structure.
