It’s hard (for me) to understand. Every public company consumer product manufacturer I have stock has and publishes market share data. Car companies. Breweries. Soda companies. Paper towel companies. Theme park companies.

But not tractor manufacturers.

The AGM may require reports to differentiate purchased "private label" tractors from tractors actually coming off a brand owner's production line.

Deere knows the numbers. but only release them to the dealers for their area. I am talking about larger equipment. If they know theirs, others also know. These numbers are guarded and not released to the public. These numbers are money for all the market.

We can get numbers for other countries so I would imagine it is in the contract signed with the research companies not to share. Everything is copyrighted.

Based on everything we can see from other countries the manufacturer with the largest share of the market would be less than 40% in any category. There is just a lot of players with successful market strategies.

@jeff9366 deserves that credit as he started this in several other threads. I actually am glad he did. I thought it would be much easier to get a answer but I have learned a lot going through the process.
