I have one of these, Polaris made it, pretty indestructible..

I have the same thing in their 1500# model... and BTW, it's made by Polar, not Polaris.

It's surprisingly easy to dump by hand. I added their side extensions to it so I could load a bit more firewood in it. Also added the 2" ball hitch, since I had added a receiver hitch to my Coot.

Are you using an on board battery or something else?

Currently all I have is a stand alone small mower battery to test and it's condition is suspect, I was able to lift 2 buckets of dirt on the initial test with no problem at all,,,,, so why not try 4 buckets, again lifted it.

I suppose what I would like as a permanent setup would be a dedicated battery able to be connected to the tow vehicles charging system to extend run time when necessary.

Pretty steep dump angle shouldn't have issues getting material to come out. 0403191749_HDR.jpeg

I used it yesterday to haul about a dozen loads of rock and found some issues which I hopefully remediated today. Most pressing issue was breaking the bottom bolt on the pole, I used a 7/16 bolt initially and have gone to 1/2 diameter. Anytime the bolt broke I found the winch cable between the upper roller and the side plate, put the roller in the lathe and cut a groove for the cable to ride in. Another thing I didn't like was the winch cable, unspoiled it and cut half of it off. Other than that it worked as planned.
