Has anyone had problems with traction on a Z-force? My yard is sloped with numerous trees. Turning uphill is almost impossible. Tried wheel weights with some improvement. Anyone have any suggestions short of going to traction lug tires?

Thanks

Traction problems with a Z-Force?

It sounds like you are running the unit where its not suppose to be!!!

Take off the wheel weights.

If the hill is too steep and you are losing traction than you exceeding the limit on slope use. Which is 15 degrees or more.

You can't add weight to a Z-Force. You will shorten the life of the transmissions.

Zforces were designed to carry YOU and itself only.

Make sure you are mowing up and down the slope. Not across! If it's over 15 degrees you can't mow it. (a rise of 2.5 feet every 10 feet)

Isn't that just the nature of the beast with ZTRs? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif I've got a Toro ZTR and it's great on flat ground, but any low spot, especially if it's wet, and you're stuck. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Maybe I just should of said that the tires furnished are lousy and does anyone have any experience with any different type of tire.
