but than for a sensitive person, so can a single bee or hornet sting. Luckily I hardly even get a bump from the stings. One of my old employees carried an epi pen everywheres

but you can keep those murderous Asian bugs away from me.

They sound brutal. Normally bee and hornet stings don't bother me much, merely itching for an hour or two but I will pass on tangling with one of those things.

Go get 'em boys. Those suckers better not cross the mountains. I have enough trouble with normal yellow jackets.

just the fact they kill thousands of honey bees is enough to justify killing them!. add in the sting, which can penetrate a beekeepers suit, with a sting that feels like hot steel in your body, and they need to all die!.. Thank You ASIA!..

We had some last year in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, which is North of Washington State. This city is about a 45 minute drive south of us. If they get a foot hold in north America it can be really devastating for the bees.

The article I read say they can be as big as your thumb. If they are that size - get out the 12 gauge. I do have a smaller version and they can be down right aggressive. Bald Faced Hornets. This smaller version do raise real havoc on bees.

We have the same or similar hornet here, and they are mean little buggers. I never realized they would bother bees, though.

Keep in mind that the real significance of the honey bees is not the honey, but rather the pollination of our crops. Without the bees, our crop yields will be much lower. Thus, it's especially important to eliminate them.

If you want an example as to what happens to an eco-system when non-native animals are introduced, just check out the Florida Everglades and the situation with the pythons.
